２０２２年のスケジュール

＊ジャックリン・バグリジの作品「サスペンデッド・ウーマン」をハートスクールのダンス科のダンサーに教えにいきます。この作品はSPと一緒に踊ったことのある作品で、クリエーションに私たちも参加しています。

＊私が所属しているベルリンのDance On Ensembleにて春と夏にヨーロッパに行く予定になっています。

Postponed:

*My presentation at National Arts Club on January 11th, 2022 was postponed with spike of new variant. Date is not set yet, but I will inform!!!

延期：

＊由緒あるナショナル・アーツ・クラブにての１月１１日に予定をしていたプレゼンテーションはオミクロンの感染拡大のため、延期となりました。予定が決まり次第連絡いたします。

Look back at 2021---
A lot happened in 2021 even though we are still in pandemic, and in-person classes started after Summer.

２０２１年を振り返ってみると・・・
そしてNuVu Festivalの開催をぜひ今年と思い、今スケジュールの調整中です。

Highlight of this year:
*Went to Belgrade, Serbia and taught 3 day workshop
One class for dancers, and the other for actors/singers
*Filmed Graham technique Level 2 (now in editing)
*Went to Berlin, Germany & Amsterdam - Dance On Ensemble
Performed Martha's Deep Song
and Merce Cunningham's Berlin Story & Amsterdam Story
*Created & Performed works for "Tokyo to NY" Music concert

John Cage's Ryoanji, Joji Yuasa's Solitude
and yaz lancaster's Intangible Landscapes
*Shoot parts of "Woman in a Cabinet" -Written and Direct by Craig Webster
*Hartt Dances - performances went really beautifully and we are very proud of them!

セルビアのベオグラードに１週間、ベルリンとアムステルダムにDance On Ensembleの仕事で行き、マーサの「ディープソング」そしてカニングハムの作品を踊ってきました。グラハムテクニックのレベル２の撮影を３回に分け行うことができました。ほとんどオンラインで、リハーサルをして、最後の１週間対面でのリハーサル、撮影となりました。「キャビネットの中の女」という映画の撮影も！これはまた終わっていませんので、２０２２年に入り続くこととなります。

クラリネット奏者のトーマス・ピアシーの「東京からNY」というコンサートにて、ジョン・ケージ、湯浅譲二、ヤス・ランカスターの作品に踊りをつけさせていただきました。ケージの作品は彼のコンセプトをもとに、湯浅の作品はソリチュードというタイトルから、そしてランカスターの作品は都会の街を彷徨う感じを！

The Hartt School Dance is one of the Top 20 BFA Dance Programs for 2020-21!!!
ハートスクールのダンス科は昨年に続き、今年もベストプログラムに選ばれました。春と秋の公演は両方とも素晴らしい出来で、ライブストリーミングもあり、たくさんの方に見ていただくことができました。

Stephen's back surgery went well and he is pain-less!!! and our building community is still very strong. Ladies club is on the roof, dancing @my best and Rooftop @9 plus 7 mins workout!!! 🏋️‍♀️ if it's not raining/snowing or too cold! We expanded our rooftop garden a little bit more and made basil oils, basil & garlic oils!!!

SPの腰の手術もうまく行き今は痛みはないとのこと！その代わり運動は忘れてはいけません！！！

このアパートのビルの女性たちは昨年から続いて屋上にて毎朝のエクササイズダンスを続けております。コミュニティーは素晴らしいです。屋上ガーデンは今年もやり、バジルはたくさん取れて、オイルを作ったり楽しみました。

Stephen's mom went over the other side of the rainbow. We miss her very much... however we welcome a beautiful girl to our nephew's family and she is the cutest one!!!
Life is not easy sometimes, but it gives many beautiful things/purposes. No matter what happens, life goes on. New day, new year will arrive.

今年はSPのお母さんが亡くなりました。とても悲しいことでした。そしてそのすぐ後に、甥っ子夫婦のところに可愛い女の子が生まれました。

Throughout the year, I taught online classes for dancers in Japan. We started last year, and those dedicated dancers in Japan, they learn and adopt and they get better! I was bit worried how this online classes give but I see progress. AMAZING!!! 😍

昨年から始めた日本向けオンラインクラス。オンラインでどのくらい伝えることができるのだろうか、と模索しましたが、皆がどんどんうまくなっていく様子を見て本当にびっくり、そして嬉しいです。まだまだ続けていきます！！！

We keep exploring, try new recipes, (sometimes terrible outcome...🤣 ), fermentation project is still happening, cooking, sewing, creating something new - gives us energy!!!
まだまだ色々興味のあることがたくさんあり、一つづつやっていこうと思っています。発酵食、料理、裁縫、色々作るという行為が好きです！！！

Our roommate, Karin Fukumi gave a beautiful performance on my birthday. She played the first movement of Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No.2 with the Hunter Symphony Orchestra. Karin was so relaxed ( I don't know how can she be that relaxed... i would be too nervous as you know!) and powerful!!!

私の昔のルームメイトのお嬢さんで、今うちのルームメイトの福見果林さんがハンター大学を卒業、ピアノコンチェルトコンペティションで優勝。いつコンサートになるかがパンデミックでわからなかったのですが、今年その公演が実現。１２月１日の私の誕生日の一番嬉しいプレゼントでした。その演奏はYouTubeにありますので、ぜひ！！！

One more thing!! Stephen and I celebrated our 20th year together! Love, respect and trust this person so much!!! Thank you Stephen for put up with me!!!

そして２０２１年は私たちの結婚２０周年でした。この写真を見ると「あぁ〜若かった！」と思いますが、色々やってきた２０年、これからの２０年もまだまだ色々とやっていきますので、皆さん、ぜひ応援してくださいね！！！
