Hartt Dances - Spring Concert 2024

HARTT DANCES Spring 24 This is one of the most exciting time for me. In this concert, I am re-arranging Martha's 1952 work "Canticle for Innocent Comedians". I danced this work in 1987 with Graham company, my first year in the company. I was, of course a chorus member(very proud!) but also that was my first soloist role as STARS. So this time, I am putting all interludes together and give some hint of all elements between. Dancers are working really hard and I am very happy how they are working. SO this is "world premiere" of this one!!! Also Stephen Pier's work "Under the Ice", he is re-choreographing. I just watched the rehearsal today! I danced this work with my friends, that time was a trio! this time.... little more, you will see!!! Besides our works, Paquita Excerpts putting together by one and only HildaMorales. AND 2 world premiere by 2 of nicest people!!! Tamisha Guy and Norbert Deal Cruz III. I am excited to see it, and I am nervous... at the same time. That is a good thing!
